Our Founders

Aidan LeTendre is a New York-based filmmaker from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Since childhood, Aidan has loved planning, designing, and building things. Whether these words resulted in movies or LEGO models, he has always accepted creation in whatever form it took.

In 2018, Aidan released his first official short film, Forgotten. While it was far from perfect, it secured him spots at the University of Southern California and the University of California, Los Angeles, for their high school filmmaking summer programs. At these colleges, Aidan produced three more films (Seconds, Bell Peppers, Uncertainty). A year later, Aidan's fifth short film, Inertia, received critical acclaim from ten film festivals worldwide, offering him the opportunity to attend New York University's Tisch School of the Arts program. In the summer between high school and college, Aidan released his next trio of films (Knock, Green, Quandary), securing four more official selections.

At New York University, Aidan prioritized being a versatile and adaptable member on film sets. In addition to writing and directing, he was a prolific cinematographer, shooting over a dozen student films. Working on his own and other students' shorts taught him to be a leader and a team player. In 2021, Aidan released his final film directed in high school, Speculation, premiering in New York, Los Angeles, and his hometown. Aidan's time in New York inspired him to experiment with multiple different styles of filmmaking, including animation (Life), black-and-white silent (Capsule, Kismet, Wayward), and documentary (Fifth). His fifteenth short film, The Ameliorator, capped off this experimentation and served as a self-reflective character study on burnout and falling short of perfection.

In 2024, Aidan graduated college and released Soul Tags, an independent short film he shot in his junior year. While still in its festival run, the film has gathered both critic and public praise, screening in over ten festivals worldwide and accumulating over twenty thousand views online.

Coming up, Aidan has three short films in post-production (The Crustacean, The Passion Plant, Amnesia) and several feature-length screenplays in various stages of development. In addition to his filmmaking and business ventures, Aidan is a disciplined triathlete, weightlifter, and avid golfer currently training for the 2025 Ironman 70.3 in Haines City, Florida.
